The City of Zamboanga continues to experience a war-zone-like activity, camouflaged soldiers are on the move, as bullets whiz with repetitive gunfire, leaving now an increase in the death toll reported, including possibly over 50 persons conducting the siege dead.

Attacks on those described as the hostage takers, include airstrikes from helicopters.
