The number of unaccounted for individuals is estimated at almost double earler numbers; now about 6,000. Individuals that have been found post mortem are difficult to identify even with DNA help. Only a fraction of Americans that were missing are fully accounted for.

Footage of rescue efforts indicate relatively slow progress. It has been more than a couple of full days now and survivors might starve if they are not rescued. Potential methods and solutions, are to expedite the process, self-evident easier said than done, however, in this case expediting might involve obtaining and putting to use some of the same technologies used during the Spain mud slides disaster late October 2024, such as major drainage pipes. (Ice and formulations from heights in the Himalayan mountains came crashing down and did one of 2 things or both, 1, push down on waters with large force which cause rise in waters, similar to a person getting into a bathtub of water and the water rises, or 2, adding to waters, similar to dumping a gallon of water into a full sink in a kitchen resulting in overflow. 4th and other factors might exist, but not stated here. Hence, techniques and strategies to counter what happened, may be helpful. Get overflow of water and mud out of the way of the rescue paths.)

Flooding
  • Hurricane Harvey: hits the Gulf hard, the force and momentum was so strong and that the 'backends' from the eye of the storm is still causing damage and has the potential to keep causing damage at least for immediate future.  Areas affected Texas, Louisiana.  About 40,000 houses as of this moment are either destroyed or rendered useless.
  • In the meantime, a concurrent situation in the southwest Florida region emerged with serious flooding, such as Fort Myers and Cape Coral.
  • In Asia, India, Nepal, Bangladesh; numbers of fatalities catastrophic, up around or beyond a thousand since the situation began.
  • In Africa, northern areas of Uganda, and 5 states in Sudan.  Freetown, Sierra Leone devastated by heavy rains and mudslides.

News in South Africa region
  • Still, cannibal cases in Africa.
  • Kidnapping, of adults, an increasing concern 

U.S. News
  • Gun violence all over the country especially big cities

Global news
  • ISIS/IS -- news sources indicative that there has been activity related all over the place, Philippines, Iraq
  • Crime related to child porn, all over the place; it is clear it is not just restricted to a couple of big cities or a few little known outskirts where no one can catch them.  Unfortunately, persons that have/had authoritative status that we should expect to clamp down on the activity are instead engaged in it.
  • Armenia/Azerbaijan tensions, still going, the main theme seems not to have changed much since the past few years, perhaps the statistics of 'cease fire violations' have
  • Palestine/Israel -- turbulence over the Masjid Al Quds, known also as Dome of the Rock.  Some not let in to the site, some went in in what was perceived as intrusive or unfair.  Various 'legislative' and 'restrictions' pertinent the site.

Refer Burma/Myanmar page for air strikes over the EOM February/2026 start of March 2026 time frame. Up for consideration is the be mindful of the whole pie concept. There may very well be a double team set of missile strikes going on on Iran, subject to differing views; however there are still a number of situations going on globally that are weighted, such as violence in different areas of where the Sahel and Northern Africa meet, situations of starvation in the eastern areas of the belt as well; and missile strikes in other regions.
