Incident and News Roundup Weekend of September 28, 2025 Through Monday Morning 9/29

Church vehicle ramming, incendiary attack, and mass shooting combination.
Where: Grand Blanc Township, Michigan. About 62 miles northwest of Detroit.
When: Sunday yesterday 9/28/2025; during a time there were a number of people in the building
Background: There have been a number of different kinds of incidents since about 1985 that this incident may have culled from, cut, copy, paste, apply - the worst of the worst nightmare, not only duplicating terror attacks off of those past, but combining several of them. This is not to say that the suspect or suspects used other specific attacks to plan theirs, however, there are startling remiscent aspects, and the in general fact that certain attacks and wherein their methods, did occur.
One of these was the attack on the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City in April of 1995.
Mass shooting at Squirrel Hill area of Pittsburgh, PA synagogue, late October 2018.
Man drove SUV vehicle with multiple containers of gasoline inside into, or wound up into, at least another vehicle and a crowd in Rochester, NY, start of the year 2024.

The religious institution that was attacked yesterday was a Church of Latter Day Saints.
So far, as of about 12pm EST, reports are that at least 4 persons succumbed to injuries.
Suspect reported to be around 40 years old.
Suspect may have been a veteran of the US military.
Chances are, (it is very very likely) there was some planning that went into the attack, and that the suspect had a large firearm; in contrast, it probably was not spur of the moment while happened to be driving by. Word often used, premeditated. This considers the magnitude of destruction, the timing, and other elements of the attack.
Due to the magnitude of the aftermath of the shooting that occurred to Kirk in recent weeks, reference Turning Point, and that the aftermath included a lot of vocal reponses repective religion that churches are heavily involved, and that the incident of a few weeks ago plus aftermath is in the backdrop or the 'vibe' commonplace in the USA now, it may not be to totally abandon the possibility that it may have affected the psyche of the suspect in yesterday's event. Relationships and non-relationships of different churches possibly considered amidst it all as well. [Dream City, Assemblies Felowship, Latter Day etc.] (As known, Latter Day is known for its location in Utah; where Kirk incident occurred.)
Typically when a moment like the one seen here is carried out, fueled with rage, it may have been due to something also horrifying was going on in the background after the location, institution, or somehow connected to the institution attacked, such as child abuse.

Mass shooting at Casino in Texas. A retired Border Patrol agent amongst the victims.
It is not clear whether 2 or 3 victims succumbed to wounds.
Where: Eagle Pass Texas. Located about as close to the border with Mexico as one can get, area southwest of San Antonio, yet northwest of Laredo.
What: Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino
When: Shortly after midnight on the weekend; it appears the shooting happened shortly after the houred day of Saturday concluded and into the start of Sunday, as the truck of the suspect was tracked down on Sunday morning, fitting the 8 hours later narrative reported. Sunday was 9/28, Saturday 9/27/2025.
Other details: Reported suspect is reported to have led law enforcement on a manhunt that lasted for about 8 hours.

A man fired on a crowd from a boat into a crowd, Saturday night this past weekend.
Where: American Fish Company in Southport; about 30 miles south of Wilmington
When: Saturday night 9/27/2025
Suspect reported to be around 40 years old.
Suspect may have been a veteran of the US military.

Bus fire bombing -
Where: Portland, Oregon
When: 9/22/2025
Brief background: It's not entirely clear what was going on in the firebomber's mind, whether singular or plural. Some theories include it was mistook for an ICE (immigration enforcement) related vehicle, and hence targeted; perhaps there was a statement attempted at being made.
The bus attacked had to do with an entertainer who uses the name Ice.
The bottom line: firebombing buses, markedly remindful of the Freedom Rides era, (desegregation push), has no fit now, 2025.
(The only remote possibility it could be let go, is in an extreme event of being invaded by foreign terrorists or an attempt to colonize us the US with the use of force and violence such as a business improvised into an attack vehicle, and there was absolutely no other recourse to save your life. Some peace loving people might say not to even do or say that much. The point is firebombing as a way to make a statement to accomplish something political is way out there in absurdity.)

- New Orleans on or about 9/28 (Sunday); Bourbon St; 4 injured. Incident was shortly after 2am. Area appears to be a social frequenting late night expectation for crowds on weekends sort. A child was present on the scene and a victim. Comment: the classy aspect of late night on weekends socialization in the area may be diminishing.
- Alexandria 9/27 (Saturday); about 4am, 4 injured, near Highway 71 S; central area of the state.

- Southport 9/27 (Saturday) (See summary above)
- Raleigh 9/27 (Saturday); parking lot at about 4am, 4 injured. Shootings in Raleigh appear to be frequent enough right through here to be assessed as at least uncomfortable
