Just how many incidents there have been where body parts after an attack, murder, or attempted murder, have been haphazardly or craftily disposed by putting them in makeshift graves, trash bags, cardboard boxes, mixed in with the trash, suitcases, and other improvised schemes, might not ever be fully assessed.
Of course for law enforcement to try their best to get a hold of it all couldn't hurt help society in the path of their safety.
This morning it was announced in online news sources in Baltimore City, skeletal remain were found early Sunday morning. Some might not help to reflect on the situation going on in New York, a name of reference Gilgo Beach Murders, where a serious look into a string of disappearances is being investigated into.
A quick lookup of skeletal remains also shows there have been a number of incidents along the same lines scattered throughout the US in just recent weeks. The following summary is an attempt to do a brief roundup of incident findings available online.

Larry Phebus – Homicide
On March 27, 1963, the body of Larry Phebus, age 14, was found two and one-half miles south of Alexander, North Dakota. Phebus disappeared and was presumed to have been murdered on or about October 20, 1962. Autopsy results indicated that Phebus died as a result of asphyxiation.

Lora Jean Dugan – Homicide
On April 30, 1972, the body of 14 year old Lora Jean Dugan was found approximately three miles southwest of Medora, North Dakota, in a hilly and wooded area approximately one mile south of Interstate 94. Dugan was the victim of a homicide sometime between April 7 and April 21, 1972. She died of strangulation.

Daniel Erick Johnson – Homicide
On June 27, 1974, the body of Daniel Erick Johnson was discovered approximately seven miles north of the Minot Air Force Base and approximately 300 feet east of Highway 83 near the north entrance to Glenburn. Johnson had been shot three times.

William Wolf, Jr. – Homicide
On August 20, 1978, the body of William Wolf Jr. was discovered in the Red River approximately three miles north of Kragnes, Minnesota. Wolf’s body had been cut in half and placed in garbage bags. Wolf had been reported missing during the week of August 13, 1978.
