How Big is the Situation in Sidon Going to Mushroom?

June 24, 2013
In the past few days, and this weekend, there has been fighting in the region of Sidon in Lebanon.  There is an aura of shame on the fighting in Sidon.  What is a striking situation, is that when the fighting is thought of at the same time of one of the most popularly known sayings of Muhammad, the Seal, transliterated 'Khateem', who is said to be born in the nearby region of Mecca, often translated into English, 'Muslim is brother, transliterated 'akhw', of Muslim'.  These days, popular conception is that when two parties of Muslim fights, it is a clash to the saying.  The saying did not write out, Shia, Sunni, Jordanian, Hezebollah, Syrian, Arab, non-Arab, so on and so forth.

There are other sayings which Muhammad, the ascription, 'peace and blessings upon him', spoke that discuss the unlawfulness of Muslim fighting Muslim.  Amongst these, in simply worded translation, when two parties, which seem initially, to be Muslim fight each other, one of them is not a Muslim.
Readily seen is the awkwardness of fighting on the Arab land between parties all claiming to be Muslim.

At about 10 people dead, or even 1, it is too much.
The entire Muslim world is feels a sense of shame over the situation.

Whether involved with the situation in Syria or not, hold this aside for a moment--
Is the situation in Sidon going to suck-in, and, or expand, consuming larger amounts, of people, and locations?
Is there a contained shroud of confusion that is about to mushroom?  There might be a wish, which is, that because the situation might not be one which is liked, nor might sit favorably when thought of respective to the sayings abovementioned, that the situation will remained minimized and naturally go away, such wish might not always hold as the actual series of events, in the realities of today's world.
Proactive measures that do not involve unlawful fighting must be taken to bring the situation under control if not zero it altogether.

Problematic to the situation is the knowledge which the Arab World takes almost for granted, the same knowledge which others who might not be originally from the Arab World or removed, in some cases demonstrate they do not have a thorough understanding of, and barely grasp elementary aspects.  This refers to, among many, Shia, or some spell Shiite, Sunni, Hezebollah, and fighting and not fighting on Masjid property.  The Arab World knows their own.  History has shown us, when those from outside the Arab world attempt to get involved in affairs such as what is depicted in Sidon, provide media coverage, in their process of doing so, they often get key concepts mixed up, which in turn can result in the Arab World looking condescendingly on this, in turn possibly resulting in forming bitter the needed relations between them.

U.S. Challenges Being Open to Receptive to the Right Balance can Always be Key to Solutions: Wildfires, Stock Market, Economy, Mortgage Rates and Industry, International Cooperation Efforts

June 21, 2013
Wildfires are burning in the western part of the U.S., especially inclusive of Colorado, this year at very severe levels, compared to popularly recorded history over the past few decades.

Despite economic challenges of the U.S., the U.S. is still very respectable and respected in many aspects.  And, the U.S. works to develop international cooperation, even though complexities might be existent, and can be taken into consideration for this, is the emergence of technologies that make communications and other technologies faster than ever.

The mortgage industry and real estate market: we want to see a strengthened economy, which could involve results of negating frivolous dimensions of the economy, mortgage rates, and property values.  Hold that thought for a moment; in the same breath of eliminating rates so low they are indicative of being preposterous, weighing down too much resulting in spikes of mortgage rates where they are so high that no mortgage companies are able to provide mortgaging services, can potentially hurt, or at least the sense of hurt, the mortgage industry and the businesses therein, a valuable sector to the overall make-up and topography of the business world.

The areas of severe weather, and other industries and sectors, it can be seen where analogies can be drawn.

Further reading, and a few excerpts that seem befitting at this time, which could change over the next few hours:

"The global markets are continuing to freak out following the Fed announcement that some forms of economic stimulus will soon be throttled back.  Mortgage rates continue to be extraordinarily volatile, along with practically everything else."
Beginning of 'Current Mortgage Rates for Friday, June 21, 2013' <http://www.totalmortgage.com/blog/mortgage-rates/current-mortgage-rates-for-friday-june-21-2013/21803>.

"Tumbling stock, bond and commodity prices around the world are demonstrating just how reliant the global economy has become on the monetary policies of the Federal Reserve."  This a statement that could sum up many dynamics of what is going on currently, and historically, has said to have been for years, from an article 'Published: June 20, 2013', 'Global Sell-off Shows Fed Reach Beyond the U.S.'
<http://www.nytimes.com/2013/06/21/business/economy/global-sell-off-shows-fed-reach-beyond-the-us.html?_r=0>

"Friday's bond market initially opened in positive territory but has since slipped into negative ground once the stock markets opened for trading."

Three Grave Challenges Facing China-US Relations
June 21, 2013
http://www.chinausfocus.com/foreign-policy/three-grave-challenges-facing-china-us-relations/

Here are a few points cited from the article:

"...the new type of major power relationship between China and the US is something easy to define but difficult to act on because the two nations still have to face up to three grave challenges.

First, the geostrategic challenge for China and the US in the Asia-Pacific region. The United States is advocating its Asia-Pacific rebalancing strategy, leading to increasingly complicated territorial disputes between China and Japan and the Philippines....

Second, China and the US face challenges in the global economic market, trade market and their rules. The US is aggressively promoting its “double oceans and double P strategy”...

Third, the rules of the cyber world hold challenges..."

If it may be added, it might be possible, while studies into theoretical economic models do no harm, deeper oil drilling impacting where oil is drilled, might impact the entirety of the picture.

Rounding out this business week, different countries have long-running philosophies, which impact their psychologies, when they develop policies for international affairs.  The policies for countries in the Arab World a thousand years ago, might have marked differences to the written policies in the U.S. in the last decade.  Whereat, the policies from a thousand years ago still have effects on the policies made today.  Therefore, in some circumstances, the implications of a policy made today, might not be entirely applicable in every detailed aspects, for a simple model for parallel from one region of the world to the next.

On wildfires:
'Red Flag Warnings, June 21, 2013'

"Red Flag Warnings and Fire Weather Watches for enhanced wildfire danger have been issued by the National Weather Service for areas in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado."
There is a map that provides much crystallization on where the bulk of the fire warnings are, especially where the 4 states come together at, of Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona.

Severe Weather and Wildfire Roundup: Wildfires in CA, CO, AZ; Tornado Slightly Possibly in Montana

June 19, 2013
Wildfires:
  • Arizona:
    • Gladiator Fire, although '100%' contained, has been burning for over a month
    • Doce Fire, in the Prescott area
  • California:
    • Carstens Fire, in Midpines area, approaching 2000 acres of damage
    • Powerhouse Fire, still burning
    • Hathaway Fire, approaching 4000 acres, in the area of San Bernadino National Forest north of Banning
  • Colorado:
    • Black Forest fire results in over 500 houses destroyed
Tornado:
  • Slight possibility of weather conditions developing into tornadoes in Montana for later this afternoon, is the prediction based off the source cited.
          source: http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/outlook/day1otlk.html

Supportive notes: the prospect of tornadoes emerging in Montana, according to the source cited, are due to a number of climatic factors.  The conditions that comprise these factors can move around, and change from moment to moment, this in contrast to an absolute tangible solid object.  Resultant, there might be the possibility of a fluidity of the time window that the predicted tornadoes could occur.  Straightforwardly, the possibility of tornadoes could be treated to, their occurrence could extend beyond just later today.

Egypt: Interfaces with Countries Nearby Potentially Involves Fighting. Concerning, Rebels in Syria, and Dam in Ethiopia.

Evidently, according to the story's source, Egyptians are being allowed by the government of Egypt as stated by the office of the Presidency, of Egypt, to fight alongside Syrian rebels, and, without those fighting persons being prosecuted when they get back.

Comments separate from that news story, include questions might begin to arise, such as, what will the behaviors and trends of those that choose to fight alongside Syrian rebels actually be, for instance, when they arrive on the scene?--, and, after they have decided to end their involvement and return?--, preempted by, how long will it be until the end of their mission, months, decades...?--, and, will they return?

Ethiopia | Grand Renaissance Dam:

"Premature to threaten military action with Ethiopia, says army
MENA

"Egyptian armed forces spokesperson Ahmed Mohamed Ali said Thursday that it is too early to talk about military action against Ethiopia over the Grand Renaissance Dam dispute.

Egypt has other political, economic and social means with which to tackle the matter, Ali stated, adding "military action is usually a last resort."

The statement comes after President Mohamed Morsy warned Monday that Egypt does not want war with Ethiopia but will keep "all options open," piling pressure on an ongoing dispute over the giant dam Addis Ababa is building across the River Nile.

In a televised speech to cheering Islamist supporters, Morsy voiced his understanding for the development needs of poorer nations upstream in the Nile basin, but still deployed emotive language to claim Egyptians would not tolerate any reduction in water supplies.

"Egypt's water security cannot be violated in any way," Morsy said. "As head of state, I confirm to you that all options are open."

"We are not calling for war, but we will never permit our water security...to be threatened," the president added.

Drawing on an old Egyptian song about the Nile, he said: "If it diminishes by one drop then our blood is the alternative."

From the article, 'Ethiopia will not accept any proposal to delay construction of Renaissance Dam: Foreign ministry', "Some Egyptian politicians were also caught on camera last week talking of air strikes or backing Ethiopian rebels after the start of major new work on the $4.7 billion Grand Renaissance Dam took Cairo by surprise." [source: http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/1/64/73880/Egypt/Politics-/-Ethiopia-will-not-accept-any-proposal-to-delay-co.aspx]

Background on the dam:
Supposedly one of the biggest hydro-electric projects existent in the region, huge amounts of money involved, building of the dam might obstruct some resources that Egypt considers vital, to include water itself.

Refer Burma/Myanmar page for air strikes over the EOM February/2026 start of March 2026 time frame. Up for consideration is the be mindful of the whole pie concept. There may very well be a double team set of missile strikes going on on Iran, subject to differing views; however there are still a number of situations going on globally that are weighted, such as violence in different areas of where the Sahel and Northern Africa meet, situations of starvation in the eastern areas of the belt as well; and missile strikes in other regions.
