So now a terrorist has performed something that new textbooks being produced globally, can start out by saying, 'on March 15th in New Zealand, terrorists reputed to be 'White Supremacists' attacked at least two 'mosques' [masajid, transliteration for the plural form of masjid, a Muslim place of worship]. Friday is the day Muslims perform their weekly congregational prayer, mandatory for healthy men'.
It may be this is what the terrorists want, a brief claim to fame. A tiny drop of permanent history, so that readers and video watchers around the world, in the course of general care for the human race, and assessing their behavior, can look at these terrorists.
Perhaps textbook publishers should hold-off on placing a segment about the attacks in their selections on terrorism, until a few years later, in a mitigation effort, making such acts of terrorism less glorious in the minds of terrorists.
Terrorists got one of their wishes today, newspapers all over the world are stopping everything else they are doing, and devoting headlines to them. We will do the same here, however, for reasons other than, they caused and therefore dictated.
The strange event happened in an area named Christchurch; there is also place name of Linwood where over a half dozen of the victims are reported to have been. Keep in mind that christ has a meaning and an etymology, and so does church; furthermore, the history of that area of land plausibly has names that go back long before the currently spoken English language of 26 letters was readied to spell out the name it is known today.
Islam and Muslim individuals ardently preserve that Isa or spelled Jesus was a special individual, mentioned many times in the Book Muhammad (both 'praised') was revealed, as well as the Injeel, some call Gospels, or refer to as the Bible; basics reiterated, once again in the aftermath of a terror event; many of us have hoped that the amount of times these historic facts have presented, that by now, it would not be necessary to try to drive home, apparently, some individuals have stubborn blocks on their hearts and spirits and see almost no light, and still have not grasped one of the most rudimentary concepts of life on earth.
The question 'why?' in regard to the brazen acts of terror, can probably be asked dozens of times covering different aspects of the global community and sub-communities.
Granted New Zealand had settlers and colonial occupation, similar to United States history, Canada, and regions of Central and South America, aptly, nearby Australia as well. However, in some eyes, New Zealand is still known for its indigenous natives, which might not necessarily be popularly pictured as 'from European stock'.
The European stock dimension, it appears, has taken a hold a certain individuals, not everyone, but an unfortunate few in the timeline of world history, to where they have taken too little too far.
What right has an individual to raise himself as superior to others, then take advantage of the advent of the firearm or explosives, in whatever cause he feels connects in his or her own mind as having something to do with it all? -Especially in this day and age almost 20 years into the 21st century.
Compounding, the suspect terrorist decided to live-stream the event. The use of camera and live-streaming tools, social media accounts, mixing in terrorism, needs to be addressed, on top of what done to address the constantly developing source of anguish.
Why did the terrorist event that occurred Friday March 15, 2019 in New Zealand, claiming the lives of almost 50 individuals, take place in New Zealand?
Why on Friday?
-Maybe because a terrorist has figured out that they can target as many persons possible per unit space on the congregation prayer window; which by the way, is an act of cowardice.
Full investigation must be done. Studies on accomplices, how many persons assisted directly and indirectly in the terror attack even if it be zero, how the terrorist obtained the weapon or weapons, mental condition, voluntariness to carry out an act, involution conditions, mental conditions, where the information came from to tempt him or them to plan and carry the acts out, are all aspects to consider having full knowledge of, to name a few. Sources say the primary suspect was less than 30 years old, which already suggests, that like other mass murder incidents in the last 20 years, that when coupled with the act of terror itself, he had a limited amount of information which led to the reasoning in his mind to carry out the event, and may have had impressions made on him that moved him into the acts.
Wrapping up this brief writing for now, of course our sincerest condolences are given to the victims of the tragedy; and further, there is no logical connection between 'White Supremacy' and targeting individuals at a masjid, nor Muslim individuals. One reason, is that the knowledge of how some forms of the human race were imbued with the paleness sometimes expressed as whiteness, is far beyond what narrow-minded 'White Supremacists' understand, or even allowed to, referring to the permission to attain those ranks of understanding. Secondly, there is no guarantee that everyone in a masjid for a set moment, are Muslim, or not of European stock or descent. Third, the obvious, throughout history there have been multitudes of Muslim or follow through with Islam, that are European, descended of European, have fair skin and from Europe, ancestry from the region, descendants of European colonial settlers, and so on.
The shooting that occurred in New Zealand earlier today makes no logical sense, and did not accomplish anything other than terrorize, stir up a pot of confusion, it did not intimidate anyone, it did not cause fear to believers that worship whom they worship, it did not represent the views of all fair complexioned Europeans, it in in short, was nothing more than an act of terror.
This concept of a 'hit' was made at certain Islam worship centers, in New Zealand in the last 48 hours, is a bunch of rubbish; the reason why it is rubbish is because, there is no professional man-made apparatus social construct that was dubbed Islam and hence formed a group, which gave rise to group against group strife, nor is there genuine further asserting and rationalizing of the strife, as there was no rationale and foundation for it to exist in the first place, because there was no truth for a mindset of hate to rest upon. What the confused and hate-filled attitudes could do though, is eventually after tensions continue, lead to more attacks on Islam sites where worshipping is performed. On the contrary to unsubstantiated terror filled attitudes, Islam is one of the top several most popularly performed ways of life, a way of life which goes back to the beginnings of mankind. Historically, there have been battles, wars, and tensions between Muslim individuals and those that are opponents to Islam. What is discussed here is, Islam and sites of worship Muslim individuals attend, is not based off a mob movie filmed in the 1970s, where there is some newly formed group called Muslims on one side, and everybody else on the planet are the good guys on the other side, and where there is a false notion that if an act of violence is done to a Muslim place of worship, maybe it will make the economy better for a certain set of individuals.
What precisely was the motive of the act of terror? Many await to hear the words spoken, many might have no need for selection of words to be placed together and spoken.
