Hijri/Lunar Year Start Discrepancies, Ashura Day/ 10th of Muharram Date Discrepancies

Ordinarily 1 + 9 is always going to be equal to 10.
First of the year, once that is affirmed, the 10th is going to be 9 days later.
(Perhaps unless there was a way to retroactively correct and hence adjust. The other boys with reports of the moon sighting didn't make their way yet through the mountains to the announcement center because they were blocked by the elk beast.)
Some reputable sources have said the first day, whereas a new month basically starts the evening before that day, for Muharram 1447, coinciding with June 2025, is Thursday; restated for clarity, last night the start of Muharram 1, and 1st full day, is Thursday, today.
Some sources are saying Friday, tomorrow, is the first full day.
Some entities made an announcement online.
The way the announcements are made sometimes makes it sound like some parties not only assert that a certain start date is correct, but that they are the undisputed leader and their announcement should be followed, as though the announcement for the first day of Muharram, or other date, is fact, a problem when there's discrepancy, or they are incorrect. This also happens an unfortunate frequency on dates of popular significant concern, like the start and stop of Ramadhan, and day of Eid.
Part of the whole idea, is the start and stop dates are independent of a political basis being used as the determination of the start and stop dates.
There are websites now with moon phases that are readily available. Fractions of waning might be available as well.
There are guidelines from many years ago on what constitutes moon phase sightings.
