Harsh Downcast Views Mount About Violence in Middle East and Nearby Turkey

In sum, one of the holiest days of the Muslim lunar calendar year is near, known as the 'Night of Power', briefly translated, furthermore, from the Quran, a Book of Guidance in Islam, it is 'a night better than a thousand months', translated into commonly spoken English today, not to mention Eid the celebration after Ramadhan is within a few days; Ramadhan is supposed to be a month where fighting and arguing especially amongst Islam adherents, is minimized with every effort; there are 2 or 3 words that describe some of what has been going on in regions where Ramadhan is observed prevalently: Repudiated, and repugnant.  And if we can add to this list we will.  Beyond irony, generally the level of violence might be described as a shameful disgrace.  Held off from those comments in the past several days, yet the situation keeps getting worse.
  • Just 2 days ago, there was an attack in an Istanbul airport.
  • Thursday, today, time zone differences considered, about 30 newly graduated officers, or cadets were killed and a few civilians, in Kabul.
  • Somalia hit with at least a couple of waves of violence in recent weeks, including about 18 killed by a bomb of some sort affecting a bus.
So, what has happened is instead of the regions where widespread fasting occurs being the focus of models of peaceful atmosphere, it is gaining the center of worldwide attention as the reverse, the most violent and unpeaceful regions.

Details of what the pathology of the what gave rise to the situations, it may be discussed and explored, and studied, and rambled on in conversation.  Excuses for the condition of non-peace, for those striving for peace, factors that seep in to the community of peace abiding is a part of the challenge that has to be recognized and taken into consideration to develop the way to maintain the type of living environment ideal; 'it's not my fault' is not the answer.

Refer Burma/Myanmar page for air strikes over the EOM February/2026 start of March 2026 time frame. Up for consideration is the be mindful of the whole pie concept. There may very well be a double team set of missile strikes going on on Iran, subject to differing views; however there are still a number of situations going on globally that are weighted, such as violence in different areas of where the Sahel and Northern Africa meet, situations of starvation in the eastern areas of the belt as well; and missile strikes in other regions.
