  • Salat is a transliteration for the word prayer.
  • al meaning the
  • Jumaa is a transliteration of a word meaning gathering, and often interchanged with Friday, as that is the day the prayer, in congregation takes place.
Muslim men are going to be at a Masjid, place of worship, on Friday afternoon.
