Ordinarily 1 + 9 is always going to be equal to 10.
First of the year, once that is affirmed, the 10th is going to be 9 days later.

(Perhaps unless there was a way to retroactively correct and hence adjust. The other boys with reports of the moon sighting didn't make their way yet through the mountains to the announcement center because they were blocked by the elk beast.)

When looking at an object as though it was sphere, if an event of the same kind happens to all points on it, something that looks like a flowing wave around it might appear. It's daytime on one spot of the earth while on the other side it can be night. Meanwhile there are gradations in between.

Eid celebrations may already be underway or about to in some parts of the world. Generally, most are going with June 6.
