It probably is not necessary to say anything beyond the title of this story, to help make clear the message, a situation with the ugliness of developments in Mali, while the Ukraine strife continues, is a mess that's growing.

Let's go back in history real quick to the social developments that were in 2 or 3 popular known steps that led up to the Holocaust. There were reports of horrors being committed, some it may have been ethnicity/'race' based violence, extremist unspeakable activities, that eventually led up to today's common conception of socialist versus democratic ideals split, and at some point oppressive activities, prison camps, and WWII.

The idea if never will certain types of atrocities and displacement occur again to certain ethnic groups, a rationale for today's conception of Israel.

Circling back to Azerbaijan region, where back about the middle to mid 1800s, while the US was at Civil War, ethnicity based atrocities were happening in town square. A brief reference to 'Baku-type' massacres and other developments. Some of the ethnic divides that existed then, are rarely even discussed in today's popular sociology discussions, or even known about by many in the generations born after about 1990.

The same kinds of ugly violence that happened there and then, or happening in Mali, per media reports. Bodily mutilation etc. Inhumane stuff too gratuitous to be taking pictures of it describe in detail.

Which begs the question, what is Russia doing in Mali?

Is it peace?

Are there some particular individuals in Mali supposedly from or representing Russia, acting way out of line?
   (A reference to incidents like, two young male soldiers or in soldier uniform, or a contractor, who ever or whatever, bursting into a tent and carrying out despicable acts.)

Is it a case of a few bad apples have spoiled the Russian mission there?

Is it a case where psychological techniques are being performed at precision, that no one would ever guess that gratuitous violence affecting folks just into their teens, had anything to do with it?

Different kinds of demons and three eyed or one eyed monsters emerging from the region?

Is socialism the shoe-string that's lasso-ing and retaining relations, that is bulwarking maybe even indirectly facilitating ongoing extremism and violence in Mali as we speak?

Mali leadership questions. 
How did things get this bad, that things got this bad?

There's a list of questions, ranging from no-brainer, to more complex spiraled out of control level. 

A salient, big dark blemish going around, is the money being made on the deal.

While all the this and that are happening politically, geopolitically, while acts of extremism, the same sort that got ISIS thrown out the ring of humane people, acts of extremism performed by supposedly Russians in Mali are doing, - the same as it's been by about the 200 years, a group of people have figured out how to stuff their money bag, and keep going, and keep nabbing up cash, while horror stories for other continue.

'Things have gotten crazy' for some Palestinians, trying to keep muddied water out of already squalid tents, the outgrowth of the outgrowth of the domino series of events of October 7th a few seasons ago.

On top of that, it appears that the global problem if illegal immigration, may also be affecting Palestine, in framework; what the rules are for immigration into the region, Palestine/Israel, might be different than say the USA, given the dynamic that people the world over are expected to be interested in at least visiting Palestine/Israel; however, the reason why illegal immigration is a problem is that some of the illegal immigrants have been engaging in extreme crimes against humanity, such as rise in gangs, branches of political groups setting up cells to try to take power, engaging in terrorism and extremism (NY subway incident), and the readily seen activities of transnational narcotic trafficking ring buildup.

So is that what people are attempting to do in Palestine?

Is that what people are attempting to do in Mali?

ISIS and whatever other 'terrorist' groups were sort of running amok around 10 years, in the Mali framework, might not have been the number one global terrorist problem, but it was problematic. Then the French and the US sort of for brief words, started to double team on mitigating terrorists. 

Now Russian forces, or Wagner group, now there's the 'African Corps' how ever exactly said in Russian, over there with the same mission; while, the US and Russia are at odds over the Ukraine situation.

So, at some nexus, the US and Russia could benefit from not being at odds, at least not entirely, when it comes to dealing with ISIS.

It can be kind of hard to walk around in a zigzag backward and forward at the same time.

Warm suggestion, humbly put, as many in comfortable living situations in the USA, parts of Europe, 3 bedroom houses with a garage, lights on, food in the refrigerator, are not going through the day to day like some Palestinians so hungry it's painful for days and days at a time, and some folks in Mali that are in predicaments like targets for vultures, the friendly vultures are recourses for protection from other vultures, so on and so forth, - clean up the mess, undbyuk the dbyuk, cap on the escalation of simple sick violence and psyche control tricks, halt the money grabbing at expense of the horror of others and no peace, before the situation is all but a bunch of stupidity where the hallmarks are uncontrolled, unabated, unpredictable violence springing up and down anywhere on the globe, and ISIS prospers with their activities unchecked.

Mali is not usually in front page news in the USA, so even if situations are 1 plus 1, 2 plus 2, there's a backlog of all that I formation that could lead to being underinformed.
