Spate or Trend(?) of US Military Veterans Being Slain in Unusual Manner Disconcerting

Posted by HCN on Tuesday, June 2, 2026
These matters need to be looked into now; not after the court cases and hearings months down the line.
As the slayings and cases are being investigated into, maintaining preventative and abatement measures has to be as well.

Here are a few incidents. You will see what we mean by spate, or sudden spike and cluster in unusual activity.

Look, people make big money off of selling body parts on the black market, and the same for films of real life gratuitous activities. In an era now of rapidly advancing AI, (art. intel.), there may be a stronger demand for real life stuff to watch on whatever screen people watch, perhaps to get their high off visual activity.

There is the sincerest hopes that this sort of thing is not going on in regards US soldiers.

Honestly, in today's climate of decadence and greed, where less and less respect is given to values that used to be upheld, and less care for dignity, (considering those negatives, in the effort) to be on the safe side, any incidents that remotely ring that there might be something strange going on, needs to be marked and continually observed, and monitored. They can also be signs and heads up that unusual incidents of the same class might be going on elsewhere, such as in the same region, or far away.

The few I incidents found in about 5 minutes of looking through, without specifically looking for sordid incidents, (I can't imagine how many will be found when purposely looking for incidents of the kind for 50 minutes); AI assisted information collection:

Shana Cloud, 50, held without bail in the death of Clinton Bonnell, 50. She is charged with first-degree murder and dismembering human remains.

Mr Bonnell was a Green Beret (status not discussed).

The/a tipper to this post:
"His torso was found a month later in a pond about 3 miles from the Butler Nursery Road home he shared with Cloud. His head, arms and legs were not recovered.

“She [defendant] is not a danger to the community and will appear in court,” Moore told the judge.

“Mr. Bonnell was shot four times in the back while he was wearing a backpack with his school laptop inside.”

As he prepared to deny the motion for bond, Judge Gregory also addressed what he saw as a curious piece of evidence against Cloud that nudged his “reason and common sense.”"

Kerry Sheron, a 69-year-old Army veteran in Escondido, California. Sheron, whose yard featured an iconic pro-Trump display, was not dismembered, but beaten (fatally?) outside his home on May 20, 2026.

The suspect in that case, Thomas Caleb Butler, a 32-year-old Navy veteran named, has pleaded not guilty to charges including attempted murder, battery, and elder abuse.

Case of a former soldier being dismembered over property involves the tragic killing of 56-year-old Brenda Gillett in Chula Vista.
Details of the case include:
The Victim: Brenda Gillett was a 56-year-old Army veteran who also acted as the property manager of the home she owned.
The Suspect: Robert Watkins, 32, was a tenant living at Gillett's property on the 600 block of Via Curvada in Chula Vista.

The Incident: Following an ongoing property and eviction dispute, Gillett called the police on May 31, 2026, to report that Watkins was covering up her security cameras and violating house rules. Officers initially informed her that they could not assist with the eviction process and left. [1, 2]
The Crime: Court documents state that Watkins beat Gillett with a hammer, killing her, and then dismembered her body. [1]
The Discovery: Watkins was arrested after police found blood-soaked evidence at the rental home. Police recovered some of Gillett's remains stuffed in a suitcase dumped at Paseo del Rey Park, and additional remains were discovered in the Pacific Ocean in the San Diego Harbor. [1, 2]
Current Status: Watkins was booked into the San Diego County Jail to face murder charges.
