State of Union Address:
Very dramatic and heavy burden that the Bissell family has gone through. Present at the address. Remembered as well, are all the victims. Referencing an acutely unfortunate incident in Nevada within recent weeks.
Impressive is the courage exhibited through the incident in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania last October, and throughout the aftermath, of the Officer that was honored.
The global climate several decades ago, the way most history books read here in the U.S., hold that the U.S. and USSR were two of the highest pillars as world powers. Today, with other economies growing the way they are, such as China, and India, especially in the sphere of computers, technological gadgetry, and other trade or people-powered type businesses, exclusive focus on the tension between the U.S. and USSR might not be as intense today, 2019 as it was then. There seems to be a trending attitude, which holds that when the U.S. has 'done something that hit the news', news sources in other countries post it on their webpages and social media, often with a little caption photo that is off-base of what is currently involved, then wait for the next development, to say something sarcastic. Some of those media pages, although not necessarily in the English language, are serving populations that are immense.
It is unfortunate that, that is the way it is sometimes, even though the U.S. has poured so many millions and billions of dollars, helping them in times of catastrophe, allowing their students in our borders to take advantage of college and university education, that some regions of the world play it as if they do not care as much as they used to.
Pulling out of the referent missile treaty with Russia, might well be huge, but what goes on in the realm of global social media, might result in attempts to paint a different picture of a big move, whereat, there was not the same kind of global social media sharing involving news stories back in the Cold War era.
Altogether, Trump maintained his bearings throughout the address, with no protuberant faux pas occurring throughout, which is a sign, that there were numerous positives in what he had to say.
There are some positive changes that have occurred. Aspects of the economy have improved.
Developments standing the test of time, may well be a series of durability tests.
Super Bowl LIII:
Insignias, head of a fierce creature, a patriot, or a ram, facing from the ground, left to right, swish with a point at the bottom like an upside-down pyramid, Patriots 13, Rams 3, final score, you can call it battle of coasts, in Atlanta.
New England that the team basically represents, does not always get as much press as a location like New York, or DC; California teams that historically received relatively more press over the years, possibly up to today, were the Raiders back in the 70s and 80s, referring to glamorized defense line, and San Francisco especially in 1980s, early 90s, with recurrent Super Bowl appearances.
This year's Super Bowl might not have swept as large a mass of watchers, as other years.
Abuse affecting different age groups:
It is known that child abuse from east to west, has to continue being cracked down on; at the same time, abuse of elders, needs to be cracked down, mitigated, and abated, a very important key to a good society. Those with disabilities, need to be shielded from abuse that occurs to them.
