On the Public Utility Job Electrocution... Kansas... July 2026

Incident is under investigation.
Condolences, websites with further story have amplified.

A BPU worker, Kansas City Board, Public Utilities, was electrocuted while on the job site.

First question that may come to mind, is, in these times, 2026, with all the safeguards in place, how could an event like that conceivably happen?
Although the cause hasn't been made known to the public yet, one of the first naturally arising answers that might be in the realm of possibilities, is, there was probably an anomaly of some sort.

Whatever the anomaly or anomalies, are, they might not be constrained to one local area, thus, national news.

Incident took place in the area near Riverview Park over the weekend.
