Mass Shootings Alert, Nevada, NY, More Than Local News

As much as there is the want to maintain positive pictures about popular locations like NYC, Reno, and Las Vegas, at times providing some information to help deter major incidents can help.
It appears based on multitudes of news reports that a gunman, perhaps under the pretext of mentally illness, ('CTE'), and illness that may be commonly associated with the sport of football, walked up in daylit hours in the city with a large machine openly visible, and took the lives of several. Incident Monday around 6:30pm EST.
He also made a long distance driving trek, reports say plausibly from Las Vegas.
Monday morning in Reno, not too far away from Las Vegas, was the site of a shooting incident at a hotel that took several lives.
Perhaps computer and advancing technology, and the increase of, if you see something say something, methods can help stop these types of incidents from at least materializing to the extent they did.
There should have been no way an individual could have been seen in the public, especially NYC, with a machine gun before emergency responders seized the first available fraction of time to react and minimize the possibilities.
Plus to have been driving across the US for that length of time and distance with a lethal weapon of the power and size; suspect not going to the range, and not moving houses, not selling the firearm, there's no viable reason to be freaking he weapon that far.
Weapon bearing individuals may have trekked in, on January 6th riot at the Capitol Building.
Individual traveled from Chicago, evidently with weapon, and took the lives of embassy staffers at an incident just a few months ago in Washington.
All that NYC has been through, numerous shootings and historic level tragedies, there is a degree of shock that the NYC incident didn't get suppressed while the suspect approached the building.

There are reports the US has had over 250 mass shootings this year; that corresponds to a place that is more than one mass shooting per day; unacceptable.
Hotels and casinos are a buzz word right through here. Active camera security inside and outside the facilities in use at solid levels is sound.
Although investigators might point to that an NFL office may have been the intended or primary intended target in yesterday's attack, whereat CTE the brain condition is commonly associated with the contact in football, CTE is no way limited to just the the NFL, or just football. Brain and other injuries from amounts of contact is not just limited to CTE.
Brain injuries could arise from numerous sources, from an earthquake, to a vehicular crash, to contact sports like boxing, over aggressive wrestling especially illegal body slams, sports that often involve protective pads and helmets, falls from horses in equestrian or horse sports, bronco riding if not careful, and even indecorum fights on the street.
