Overtourism. Downsides of Being Honored.

Overtourism, basically refers to too much tourism where there are problems that arise from it.
Expected problems of overtourism include:
First and perhaps evident is overcrowding.
Supply and demand principles for tourist housing due to overtourism/overcrowding can result in the cost for certain housing to be driven very high.
Some may feel that implementing fees and costs, in the effort to address overtourism, to see certain sites, affects culture.
In general, the natural experience a tourist may be looking forward to, might not be what actually gets experienced when overtoursim conditions are present.
Well over half of tourists in Italy are reported to concentrate their visits to selected areas, comprising a relatively small proportion to the entire realm of possibilities.
Natives' readiness for huge influx of tourists beyond expectations.
