Recent bankruptcies can mean the amount of bankruptcies, or filed them, or both.
In 2025, about a half million individuals reportedly filed for bankruptcy, up from over 400,000 the previous year.
Big names like Saks Global, Red Lobster, Boston Market, Joann Stores, Sunnova Energy, and Spirit Airlines, have recently filed.
Names that we all know ho eat from, and an airline that has been viewed as a viable recourse for when other major airlines aren't included in the plans, filing. Why?
Recuperation or the speed of recuperating from events like COVID-19 epidemic/pandemic, and massive amounts of fraud depleting the economy, may be amongst the answers.
