The situation has been ongoing for about 5 days now. 100 to 200 missing, 100 to 200 dead.Part of the dynamics is the heat, which might be anywhere from 75 to 100 degrees outside, and the Guadalupe River running through the hardest hit area. Typically flooding might exist at least in part due to a river rising. Center Point seeks to be the focal point of the most intense flooding. Queensland Australia Brush Fire Emergency Escalated at Once in Over Half Century

A brush fire pops up out of the blue and consumes a house and a car in a matter of minutes, over and over again. Phenomenon. Seemingly unstoppable. Hopes for sufficient rain, maybe in vain. Firefighters are worn out. Airplanes flying overhead trying to put the fire out dumping far suppressant elements.
