House after house left uninhabitable. The winds and waters may not have demolished every house, but in terms of words to the wise, evacuate, the typhoon was about as strong as it comes without totally destroying every structure in sight.

The situation has been ongoing for about 5 days now. 100 to 200 missing, 100 to 200 dead.Part of the dynamics is the heat, which might be anywhere from 75 to 100 degrees outside, and the Guadalupe River running through the hardest hit area. Typically flooding might exist at least in part due to a river rising. Center Point seeks to be the focal point of the most intense flooding. A brush fire pops up out of the blue and consumes a house and a car in a matter of minutes, over and over again. Phenomenon. Seemingly unstoppable. Hopes for sufficient rain, maybe in vain. Firefighters are worn out. Airplanes flying overhead trying to put the fire out dumping far suppressant elements.
What is the solution?
It might be to dump enough of the needed water, fire retardants, etc., on there, which the bottom line might have a price tag, and corresponding orchestration of how to safe...

It looks like this storm is a ball of fire in the form of water. Definitely not something to play around with, gamble, or brush off. If individuals are in an area marked as at risk, or been directed to take shelter, it is highly recommended to do or have done as directed.
