More about the matter in a April/2/2026 post in the Intercontinental News section of this site.
For folks even barely keeping up with global news, already eyebrows are raised asking questions, what is what some of foolishness taking place in this conflict or supposed conflict having to do with Iran really about?
All the technology that exists to analyze aerial weapons, about the only thing scantly seen in media are blase reports that the referent drone was of Iranian origin, for whatever that means, but the flight path likely did not originate from inside the Iran borders. Further, the flight path was therefore probably from some kind of proxy closer to the target.
That's logical, as the westernmost area if Iran is about 700 miles from the easternmost edge of Cyprus. Plus an aerial object for the shortest crow flying route would have to fly over a few countries. If it flew at 700mph, it would take an hour to get there. Rest assured someone would have seen it by then. A shorter, quicker route, probably makes for path of lesser resistance to attain efficacy.
Another logical premise, is that on Cyprus territory are military locations that may be considered not aligned with the current belligerent that states they are connected to Iran, hence, that may be a rationale they and/or their proxies use for firing drones or aerial objects at the referent locations.
Even if the flight time span was 0.1, seconds, advanced technology should be capable of getting to the bottom of it, all of it.
